Digital Technology Search and New Venture Performance in Dynamic Environments

Technology search is crucial to establishing competitive advantage and improving firm performance. However, it still unclear how different technology strategies affect performance at the level determine in dynamic environments. Therefore, based on resource-based theory, this study explores relationship between digital search, advantage, new venture (NVP) environments with a sample of 267 Chinese ventures. The results show that breadth depth positively NVP. Environmental dynamism weakens positive effect NVP but strengthens Moreover, affects via differentiated through cost-leadership advantage. Finally, implications limitations are discussed.
